Hawaii is awesome. Was there in November. Climbed Mauna Kea in the morning, there was snow. By the afternoon I was surfing at the beach. Amazing place.
Jan 3rd 2011, right after the Nuggets pulled out a last minute victory against the Rockets my Wife’s water broke and 12 hours later my daughter was born…
I think I posted that in the game thread too last year lol
Moz is still 26. I don’t get this “higher ceiling” thing. When you are younger by 4-5 years and are already better than someone a few years older than you.. that is a higher ceiling regardless of “NBA time”.
I still think both Kouf and Moz are better than the Bird
That’s what we should argue about.
Wow everyone jumps to conclusions so fast, Moz and Kouf are similar and Kouf had a better game today. Moz will have his games too and i can see you guys switching allegiances.
about what is boring. And yes true fans support their team no matter how mediocre they are, if you are bashing that I suppose you support bandwagoning.
I do OK with casual dating. I just want to be with a gal for more than a couple months. I swear, it is my ascetic lifestyle more than anything that works against me.
I pretty much am over getting upset and just ignore college football now. But it truly is pathetic, maybe after the Penn State scandal big money in college sports will be scrutinized some more and the BCS can be abolished.
And all the money made on college football while the athletes can’t even have a tiny stipend just begs for the sort of corruption that the NCAA is constantly chasing its tail over.
It makes it real hard to care about college sports. Ugh.
Nuggets looked pretty awful tonight on offense and still won! This was definitely a grinder, but the offense will get better as the Nuggs conditioning improves. Would like to see how many teams win the 3rd game of a triple backer.
Big AL is the surprise of the season and KK looked good. I also thought Brewer had his moments. Rudy seems to be getting more minutes than he deserves at this point. AAA is really struggling – - what happened to all of those off-season workouts? Ty and Gallo are our core.
I now believe both AAA and Rudy are just not in game shape yet
Those open shots for AAA are automatic, so I know it is rust/ fatigue/ not in NBA shape yet.
It’s only been a week since the season opener, and I feel the Nuggets have played a TON of games. They will come around as that dude wrote on the fanpost
He is supposed to provide a punch off the bench and his instead provided only a weak Garden-esque slap. He needs to start hitting his open looks and cut instead of just floating behind the arc the entire game.
First!!!!!!!
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
This is becoming a habit.
NC Gold - January 2, 2012
Yes twice in 3 years is a habit for sure
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Maybe not
But twice in less than a week is hehe
NC Gold - January 2, 2012
Well best to build go habits early in the year, no?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Is the worst
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Your jealously is unbecoming.

Army of Nugs - January 2, 2012
It had more to do with how annoying I find posting "first"
but carry on
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
My interwebz failed me
Army of Nugs - January 2, 2012
so is this game is tied because of the deep bench?
river-z - January 2, 2012
Haven't seen you in a while
Tied because Denver is tired.
Methinks Milwaukee is more tired and Ty and friends will run them out of the building.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
i've been lurking and watching games but not commenting much
hoping to see one of those 3Q runs we saw so much last year.
river-z - January 2, 2012
Yes to that.
Denver is definitely fatigued from all the games. But they are clearly better conditioned than Milwaukee. Got to just giver and turn up the jets, yo.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Tied?
Did that Gallo put-back not count?
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
they were down 2 when he put it in
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
Oh.
My math is screwy tonight.
Too much bamboo.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
TWSS
james b - January 2, 2012

Danteslion - January 2, 2012

Even on the boards, behind two on assists, up on fts
rph80 - January 2, 2012

SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
I hope

adamlouis - January 2, 2012

i’ve been saying this for a while
skithebert - January 2, 2012
im on the bandwagon koufas should be starting
Danteslion - January 2, 2012
I say we dna splice them

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
(hey SD Nugget Fan, where in SD are you?)
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
College Area. Around El Cajon & College Ave
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
Cool. I used to live in Normal Heights
I’m Pt Loma adjacent now.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
There are some great bars in Normal Heights.
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
The Ould Sod!
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Did you know that is the 3rd oldest bar in San Diego.
It was called something else.
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
I did not know that
Did you know it’s run by former IRA members?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
With the people that show up at there, that doesn't surprise me. :)
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012

moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
Ha ha
+/- is one of the most misleading stats.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
so… you’re saying you think melo is a better player than AC?!?!
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
Yes.
And I don’t think you disagree.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
lol
i have to like ac bc im from hi… except for when he played for the nuggets. haha
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
He was a Rainbow?
Didn’t know that.
Hawaii is awesome. Was there in November. Climbed Mauna Kea in the morning, there was snow. By the afternoon I was surfing at the beach. Amazing place.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
wow, thats cool. ive lived on oahu my whole life and never been to mauna kea or seen snow. :)
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
Looking ok after a b2b2b
Like how the Knicks,Spurs, GSW, and OKC are losing or lost
JR15 - January 2, 2012
Oh and the Heat lost too
Just need Denver to put the icing on this cake.
JR15 - January 2, 2012
That Rubio guy can pass. Really well
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Melo 35 points
on 13-31 shooting, knicks score 85 and lose to one of the worst teams in the league. I bet Melo is psyched he got 35.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
I am
He’s on my fantasy team.
Great fantasy player. Glad he’s not on my Nuggets, though.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
he is on 2 of my 3
Got him, wade, and Dwight on 1 team. went 9-0 in categories last week
Army of Nugs - January 2, 2012
apparently amare was out
boy is that roster a train wreck if any of their 3 guys go down.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
no it sucks either way
actually melo and amare dont go well together
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
+1
rph80 - January 2, 2012
Is there a reason to care about Melo's stats
as a Knick?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Yes
He’s on my fantasy team.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Is he the only player on your fantasy team?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
only one worth talking about
boom!
Army of Nugs - January 2, 2012
Not really
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
why you hating on me when I am hating on Fly?
Army of Nugs - January 2, 2012
I'm hating on the Melo reporting
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Cool but understand its okay for other people to post about Melo and hate on him if they want
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
But see there is no point to it anymore. He's not a Nugget
That’s my point.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Yep. I see your point.
Taken. But some people want to.
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
Why not talk about all the other players on their fantasy teams?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
We do
We’ve talked about Rubio, LeBron, Wade, Noah.
Melo is going to get brought up a lot because he was a significant Nugget. Just how it works.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I find it interesting that he's only brought up when
he’s performing poorly…..
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
He played great tonight
But it was brought up in juxtaposition to how terrible the rest of the Knicks were.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Do you?
many want to see him fail, don’t think that’s a secret or anything
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Well we bash the Heat too
and none of those guys ever were Nuggets. It’s part of being a sports fan
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Energy = Win..
This is a mental game. See if the Nuggets can push through.. Bucks are going to play hard to the end…
djyoung71 - January 2, 2012

sgiustra - January 2, 2012
Way too many big men out there...
RoxWS2014 - January 2, 2012
5 missed layups for andre, and no free throws at all
utahcoyote - January 2, 2012
he should have got to the line 2 or 3 times
Refs don’t like him.

how is koufous the sub of the game
he started…
United Nugget Nations - January 2, 2012
Sub start?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Big Al should be the sub of the game
United Nugget Nations - January 2, 2012
Actually this is a valid argument
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
yeah really wtf?
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012

I'm thinking Gallo, Hamburglar or AAA
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I know considering his outside shooting so far this sounds crazy
but I’d vote for Gallo
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
I'm right there with ya
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
NOT fernandez
CombatChuk - January 2, 2012
GTFO

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
anyone see Andrew?
I saw him
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
what was he wearing?
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
I saw him I believe in some bageish blackish blueish t-shirt sitting down
not the guy up by the refs.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Delfino shot should be a 2
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
yes a million times yes
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
its a 2 ref
United Nugget Nations - January 2, 2012

InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012

they never actually watched the replay…
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
Looks like his foot is on the line.
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
Apparently conclusive video evidence is not good enough
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Wow
rph80 - January 2, 2012
Inconclusive
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Well it was conclusive
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Twas a joke. Conclusively.'
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
not good enough
when you have money in your pocket.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
The Bucks? Now that's a bit too cynical
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
They have the Bucks winning by 1 in their pocket
individual betting, they don’t always succumb to their evil over lords bidding.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Ed Hochuli must be moonlighting as a NBA ref.
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
It's still a three??????
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Huh.
Gr3yStreet - January 2, 2012
COMPLETE BULLSHIT!
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012

United Nugget Nations - January 2, 2012

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
game is way to slow
TyLawesome - January 2, 2012
Disgracio
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
Why Gallo?
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Gotta attack, Galllo! Especially with Bogut guarding.
rph80 - January 2, 2012
I'm going to be very mad if we lose.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
We better not lose at the end of the game like the Lakers game
I won’t be able to take it.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
thanks for destroying our momentum refs
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
We destroyed our own momentum
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
what?
it was the replay of the 2pter
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
I'm saying we stopped running and killed our own momentum.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
The Nuggets didn't even see the replay
they killed their own mo by shooting jumpers
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
no you're both wrong
this is the internet! ha
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
Uh...what?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Raptors beat the Knicks!
so theres that…
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
i got a bad feeling about this...
The_NGUYENNER - January 2, 2012
W.T.F?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
why do the refs not like Denver
TyLawesome - January 2, 2012
Up by 1, we'll get a last shot
pray, pray
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
Cmon nugs good D and we win
United Nugget Nations - January 2, 2012

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012

jd80229 - January 2, 2012
BLURRRRRRR
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
hmm
I’m not sure about the layup, but it was there, so why not.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
???
should they have shot and missed fts instead?
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
should have killed more time
and wait for them to foul, but with our FT percentage, I don’t know if that would be a good idea.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
No way
you take two when you can get two. Bucks had plenty time anyway
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
What do you suggest instead?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
D seems to be our go to player.
I am hoping it is fatigue, but the Dlooks good
JR15 - January 2, 2012
Foul them here?
the real stranger - January 2, 2012
The Bucks are playing like _they_ were the team that had to play the last 2 nights...
…something to be said for youth and depth _
Chrysicat - January 2, 2012
Bucks were actually pretty spunky tonight
they just don’t have a lot of talent.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
YES!
the real stranger - January 2, 2012
we win
United Nugget Nations - January 2, 2012
Are you in a TARDIS?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012

sgiustra - January 2, 2012
Yeah, Im 53, so what?
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
Yeah!
holyMonkey - January 2, 2012
Grind!
Tough win but especially satisfying considering third game in a row and no Nene.
rph80 - January 2, 2012
1+
We played pretty darn good out there, I wish Kostas had more burn, he played great with the time he had, 8 points, 6 rebounds.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Loves me some Gallo
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
No I loves me some Gallo more
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I laid claim last year!
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
I don't care.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Ladies...Come on!!! lol
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
Nugs can't close!!! PANIC!!!
two days later-oh yeah..overreaction
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Denver Stiffs invented the Knee Jerk
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
lets wait until they close out against a good team
then we will talk.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Not sure if serious or if you forgot yesterday already?
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
a good team
ON THE ROAD I meant to say. Separates the good from the great.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Did we play the Lakers yesterday?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Yeah Cloudburst
You know something we dont know?
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
Pretty sure
I was there.
the real stranger - January 2, 2012
Game recap will be up soon
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
30 minutes later...
?
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
gotta love it...
gallo leads everyone with 21 points and 10 boards
LaimbeersGuardianAngel - January 2, 2012
hahaha “it’s like taking an ugly date to prom… youre not proud but u got to go!”
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
I'll take it, but that was ugly
Couldn’t hit a jumper to save our lives.
margabelle - January 2, 2012
Guess we can win close games, huh?
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
On the 3rd night of a b2b2b2 I will take a win no matter how ugly anytime
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
This
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
koufus>mozgov
brewer>rudy
skithebert - January 2, 2012
I think koufus is better now
but moz has higher ceiling
The_NGUYENNER - January 2, 2012
Moz is 25? 26?
Kostas is 22 and better? I don’t think so. Kostas has the higher ceiling. There, I said it.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Same NBA time though
or similar. Kouf was born in February though so he has that going for him
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
I know, he is 6 days younger than me.
Moz is still 26. I don’t get this “higher ceiling” thing. When you are younger by 4-5 years and are already better than someone a few years older than you.. that is a higher ceiling regardless of “NBA time”.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
You were born on the 18th?
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
I meant the 13th
I thought Kostas was on the 19th of Feb. 1989.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Ah
21st here, although 1990
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Just the way they're built and their style of play
Kouf is really finesse with his little hook shot but Moz has that aggressiveness and the body that can bang with the bigs.
The_NGUYENNER - January 2, 2012
probably
Koufas is a C now and forever
Moz is a C- now, could go to a B at some poingt
Long way to go just to make that point
sgiustra - January 2, 2012
why?
anybody that watches these two sees koufus is way more coordinated. you dont just develop coordination in the nba
skithebert - January 2, 2012
I still think both Kouf and Moz are better than the Bird
That’s what we should argue about.
Wow everyone jumps to conclusions so fast, Moz and Kouf are similar and Kouf had a better game today. Moz will have his games too and i can see you guys switching allegiances.
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
ive thought koufus was good
since watching him in minny so i doubt it. moz just seems like a clumsy stiff
skithebert - January 2, 2012
He didnt look like a stiff in LA.
Big guys take a while to develop, Moz will never be an all-star, but he will be a solid contributor along with Kouf.
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Moz and Kouf need to get some tattoos before they're even close to suplanting the BirdMan
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
Way To Go AL!
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
true sub of the game!
moonchild808 - January 2, 2012
I think that Burger
gave Al Harrington super powers.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
I think after he ate it he didn't need any other food for several months!
He just went on a long fast!
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
Haha brilliant
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Rec
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
Al's moved on to Veggie Burgers this season.
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
Wow, I can watch the Avalanche now !!!
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Seriously!!! Who watches the Avs these days?
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I don't get to see them often out here. They are playing the Kings
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
True fans?
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Are they masochists
To watch a team that is mediocre at a boring sport??
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I mean boring sport to watch
It is way way waaaay more grueling than baseball that’s for sure.
But the only entertainment is fights, and I can see Pacquiao vs Jailweather for that
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Boring is in the eye of the beerholder...like beauty
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
How many drinks did it take
For you to find Birdman hot?
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
None.
Don’t misunderstand me. Hot =/= good looking or beautiful.
I think he is a good looking man. I do not find him not. I found Kenyon hot. Gallo and Rudy are pretty
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
*find him hot.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Meaning I can think a person is beautiful but
not find them sexually attractive to me.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Totally agree about K-Mart
Miss him.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Not for his good looks
But for his killer d and leadership.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I found him hot on every level :)
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Well
I understand. And I don’t disagree about that.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Maybe they think differently then you?
about what is boring. And yes true fans support their team no matter how mediocre they are, if you are bashing that I suppose you support bandwagoning.
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
I support bandwagonning when it comes to Avalanche / Rockies
But I’m always supporting the Broncos / Nuggets.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Panda hating irrationality there!
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Poor cuddly pandas......
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
The Avs are very panda like
In the sense that the front office won’t pay for talent. It is like they are trying to suck, like pandas are trying to go extinct.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I thought it was more like having bamboo shoved into your fingernails
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
No
That is watching golf on television. Who does that? Seriously?
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Old dudes with erectile issues
I think the ads make that abundantly clear
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
You are an observant and intelligent young man
Keep up the good work.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
If keep up the good work means continue watching golf I will pass
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
the erectile dysfuction meds might help.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Sure
or kill you
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Hey read the labels.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Interesting fact:
ED drugs, since they work by increasing blood flow to the extremities, can help prevent frostbite.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I believe it.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I watch some golf. US Open with Tiger vs Rocco Mediate
was hellacompelling.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Best golf contest to watch, right there.
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I won't complain about any win in the fifth game in six nights
but that is about the only circumstance I won’t complain about a game like that.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
Ugly game
Glad for the win.
Really like how consistent Gallo has been the last couple of games. Like his steady scoring.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I've got my eye on Gallo
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Who is the more attractive guy, Rudy or Gallo?
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Reggie Evans
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Gallo
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
Rudy
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Gallo because he can actually play basketball
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Of course you do
He’s a looker. No doubt!
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I'm saying for basketball skills
I actually think Birdman is the most attractive Nugget. He’s got a beautiful face.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
No comment.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Ha ha.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I'm not kidding. The guy has a great face.
Pretty eyes.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
If he cut off that slick hair-do of his
and went ball with the goatee, I think that would match a lot better. The hair slicked back like that is just… turrible.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
Agree
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
i meant bald
but yea, the slick hair-do has to go.
CloudBurst - January 2, 2012
That comment confirms for me that chicks don't go for looks
No wonder fat, short, bald guys always have a chance
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
B/c Bird is the equivalent of a short fat bald guy
In terms of the NBA and its talent level.
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
This makes no sense.
If you take away the ferret on his chin. And ignore the tattoos he’s got a beautiful face.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I really really want to believe that gals
might actually find lanky blond guys attractive.
But personal experience says: no, no, and no.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Funny thing, I don't usually go for blondes
but IMO he is a good looking guy.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Me neither
Just seems weird, you know?
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
The last guy I dated was a tall blonde....lol
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
you be the judge
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
WHO THE HELL IS THAT MAN???!!!
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Mama there goes that man!
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012

love4nuggets - January 2, 2012

SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Haha thanks!
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012

Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I used to think the same thing,
but one day it just broke. Your day will come. :)
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012
Meh
I do OK with casual dating. I just want to be with a gal for more than a couple months. I swear, it is my ascetic lifestyle more than anything that works against me.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I think it's the panda hating
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Maybe you should try more bamboo
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I'm a serial monogamist it seems.
Always in long relationships until I sabotage them. /smh
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012
No, Adriana Lima's husband confirms this
but of course it depends on how shallow someone is, same goes for guys.
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
boy that was just painful to watch.
newsman35 - January 2, 2012
Another positive
Brewer and Koufos played solid, if not spectacular.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
never thought I'd see lawson lose his legs but they must have been lead for him to play like he did at the end
newsman35 - January 2, 2012
crunch time issues reared their head again big time
fortunately the bucks didn’t want to take the win either.
And what the hell is up with Afflalo? He is a full-blown offensive liability right now.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
agree with both. maybe he's not sure of his role?
newsman35 - January 2, 2012
What's not to be sure of?
Make your open shots is pretty simple.
margabelle - January 2, 2012
Way better than Rudy
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
that is a low bar
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
Can't argue with that
But we’ve all seen how good AAA can be. Just starting slow.
I’m not worried.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
^Agreed. Jan 15th is the panic date
The_NGUYENNER - January 2, 2012
And Gotta love Hastings for ripping on Kiszla
for ripping Gallo. lol
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
What did Kleiza say?
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Kislza lol
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
That's how I read it at first, too.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
He said that Kiz finally decides to go on the road and cover the team
and suddenly decides to rip Gallo.
God I dislike Kiz…and he always shows up at the Stiffs events too. I sometimes feel guilty. lol
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
Well he could be a good guy and just completely incompetent at reporting
not sure, never met him. But just tell him he sucks at his job next stiffs night out
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
He writes well about high school sports
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
So he's HS level
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
No, I can't stand him. But he does write really nice pieces
about high school athletes. Surprisingly.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
HS level=noob
or at least that’s how I meant it
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
I understood.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I missed that
Kiszla has been off the mark a lot lately.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Kiszla is an idiot
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
OT: Would be cool if great games like Oregon vs Wisconsin and Stanford vs OSU meant something
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
The BCS
Is such bullshit.
It is a travesty that they can’t figure out how common sense it is to have a playoff in college football and it makes me so mad.
I could go on and on.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Yeah
I pretty much am over getting upset and just ignore college football now. But it truly is pathetic, maybe after the Penn State scandal big money in college sports will be scrutinized some more and the BCS can be abolished.
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Oh
And all the money made on college football while the athletes can’t even have a tiny stipend just begs for the sort of corruption that the NCAA is constantly chasing its tail over.
It makes it real hard to care about college sports. Ugh.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
me too
can barely even be asked to watch the championship anymore. BCS is such a farce.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
Doesn't help that the title game is a rematch
oh but the regular season is so incredibly important…
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Nuggets Win + Knicks Loss = Great Night!!
ACEIII - January 2, 2012
Yeah, New York is in full panic mode at this point.
They’ve lost some really winnable games and Melo is playing good ol’ Meelo ball, 13-31 lol
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
They Shouldn't be, They've got
The BALKMAN!
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
2014 lotto pick here we come!!!
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
So Melo went to NYC to win right?
SD_Nugget_Fan - January 2, 2012
Love Gallo's accent
Jeffrey Morton - January 2, 2012
Ginobli broke his hand. Out indefinitely.
margabelle - January 2, 2012
did he dive backwards into a camera or something?
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
Wah wah. Couldn't have happened to a better flopper. Zero sympathy.
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
Now if Garnett could just leave the NBA forever we'd really be talking
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
Broke it stopping a flop
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I now believe both AAA and Rudy are just not in game shape yet
Those open shots for AAA are automatic, so I know it is rust/ fatigue/ not in NBA shape yet.
It’s only been a week since the season opener, and I feel the Nuggets have played a TON of games. They will come around as that dude wrote on the fanpost
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Rudy has never been nor will he be in game shape
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Fernandez worries me a lot
He is supposed to provide a punch off the bench and his instead provided only a weak Garden-esque slap. He needs to start hitting his open looks and cut instead of just floating behind the arc the entire game.
He is playing good d though.
Colin Neilson - January 2, 2012
GK Fantasy Lineup
PG – Earl Boykins
SG – Ty Lawson
SF – Rudy Fernandez
PF – Aaron Affalo
C – Andre Millar
This can happen.
KW - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I think Afflalo would play the 5.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
Miller is a solid rebounder
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I thought Earl was playing in Europe?
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
steve blake then maybe
El Scorcho! - January 2, 2012
So is Afflalo STILL getting into game shape or
is he officially in a mini slump?
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
Both
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
I think the Kings coming to town will
Help medicate the slumps of Gallo, AAA, and Fernandez from the 3 pt line. They have no excuses this time for missing open 3s or then it is a slump
JR15 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I thought we were playing in Sacramento?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
I've got tickets to the Kings game
It better not be in Sacramento
free7694 - January 2, 2012
LOL
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Did Nene rest the whole game?
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012
yes
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
Yes.
Fly Agaric - January 2, 2012
Yes, bruised foot
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Oh lame.
I thought it was just to rest our investment. Bummer.
love4nuggets - January 2, 2012
Sort of was
Nene could have gone tonight
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Says who?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
They said it was precautionary
that means could have gone. Had it been a playoff game he would have been out there
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Who is they?
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Altitude who likely got it from staff
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
Phil H. is actually STEVE HESS!
InboundingLobPass - January 2, 2012
O.M.G. this explains a lot.
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
Sorry
but my exclamation mark/word ratio is not 12/1
Phil H. - January 2, 2012
this stanford-OSU game is something
again, too bad it’s an exhibition game.
Rainbow skyline - January 2, 2012
It's something called no defense
SDcat09 - January 2, 2012
