This year's Nuggets don't worry me as much when they fall behind

I realized it when, during the first quarter, I noticed I wasn’t gritting my teeth and bitching at bonehead plays and poor defense. They cold easily lose this game, and they should be spanked for 1) their lack of defensive effort, and 2) how easily they got taken out of their offensive game by Monty Williams’ good defense, but I’m not very worried about it.

Kostas has more upside. He is much younger, bigger, and has a much better feel to the game.

Mozgov is and forever will be a stiff, Kostas is the one with the real potential.

He is averaging 13.5 rebounds PER 36 minutes this year.

Moz is bigger, and quicker.

Kouf is younger, but not as athletic, imo.

Moz is 7’1" Kouf is a bit thicker. I think that Moz is still thinking right now. And the the lock out hurt him.

Kostas

is 15 pounds heavier and only 1 inch shorter, not a big difference. Kostas is a lot younger and a better player than Mozgov, who is really having trouble getting rebounds despite his supposed height, Gallo is the one getting all the rebounds.

Let's stop fighting about our 7 footers both are good

The main thing is Bird should not be playing on the road. Man he is bad on D and O.

Moz does have potential

But the bench is a good place for potential.

Moz just seems like he hasn’t grown into his body yet. He gets a hand on a lot of rebounds. But can’t collect. Mishandles a lot of passes.

I don’t disagree with those who are up on Moz. Just that K2 needs to be the guy playing C.

Last thing I'll say

It's nice to be having an argument about who is our best Center

Instead of who is our worst. Also it’s not bad when our 4th best Center (Chris Anderson) is better than the most teams second best center.

Kouf knows his game, and doesn't try to do more.

His game is solid, I like it, but he won’t ever be spectacular.

Nice Second Half and Additional Thoughts

Gallo – starting to emerge as a terrific scorer. Would like to see a bit less standing at the 3 point line from Gallo.
AAA – getting his game back, and really nice to seem him out on the break again. Quit crying about minutes!
Al – another solid game. Al is reborn!
Dre – just a pro’s pro. He seems to be the “glue” for this team.
Ty – looked like he had a late night in Norleans last night, but got his legs back in the 2nd Half.
Rudy – solid game with less shooting. Nice all around floor game.
Kosta – WOW! really athletic and well-conditioned. Seems to get stronger with more minutes.
Nene – Still doesn’t seem right physically. Doesn’t have any lift right now. Needs conditioning.
Moz – Struggling. Playing too soft, but is learning the game. I like his movement and has flashes of being a solid game.
Bird – Trying hard but just doesn’t have the lift anymore.

NY Loss would have made this a perfect night...

Thank god we are not Wizards fans. What a depressing team.

Nuggets on pace to 49-17...

as they beat New Orleans 96-88 and improve to 6-2 (2-2 on the road).
Nuggets came out flat but finally got their act together in the second
half. They scored the first 11 points of the 4th quarter and took the
lead and didn’t look back.

Gallo with 23, Al Harrington 14, AAA & ’Dre Miller with 13.

STATS OF THE NIGHTS:

downtown. Can that we cursed? Maybe)

This was another lesson for the “New” Nuggets. New Orleans was
crowding the lane in the first quarter. The players were shooting
jumpers but none of them were falling. Karl and the coaching staff
made some adjustments at halftime and the Nuggets turned up the
defense which turned into easy baskets. Under Karl offense is created
by good defense.

Nice road win for the Nuggets (they are beating the teams they need
too) but there will be more to learn as they get The San Antonio Spurs
tomorrow. No Manu, aka Flopopotamus, that should help out!

Let’s go Nuggets!
