Played for the Nuggets but coached a championship?
Frontrange - February 14, 2012
SInce I didn't win the Moz Miltia shirt . . I'd settle for
throw back for the most obscure ex-Nugget champion.
I was sure Steve Mix was going to do that, but alas he sign with Milwaukee for 1983 season instead of played with Moses in Philly . .

Any update on Wilson Chandler’s Chinese team’s playoff status?

Masai in China?
A couple of reports earlier in the month suggested that Masai was going to be in China for W.C.’s final regular season game. Any truth to this?
George Karl Marx - February 14, 2012
Masai was at the meet the team party last night at the Pepsi Center (with Josh Kroenke).

Nice to hear all the stiffs in one room together.
You guys are much better behind the keyboard, but glad we at least don’t have to see you on TV.
Disagree with the evaluation of Wilson Chandler. The guys s 24 and I happen to think he is a pretty good all round player, he needs to improve on his 3 pt shooting but can hit them and will get better. The guy is athletic, plays great D and can score from a variety of differint ways. His versatility will enable Karl to play small ball effectively. He can defend some 4’s and torch them on the other end. He can play forward with Gallo and probably will at crunch time. This will help us immensely because now we don’t have to play Buckets in the clutch. Gallo can replace his offensive skill at the 4 but Chandler and Gallo can improve on the D he lacks. He doesn’t have to start, he can play 2-4. This is how minutes should be tallied upon his arrival:
PG SG SF PF C TOTAL
Gallo 0 0 28 4 0 32
Nene 0 0 0 28 4 32
Moz 0 0 0 0 26 26
AAA 0 24 0 0 0 24
Lawson32 0 0 0 0 32
Chandler0 10 20 0 0 30
Miller 16 0 0 0 0 16
AL 0 0 0 16 0 16
Fernandez0 14 0 0 0 14
Koufus 0 0 0 0 18 18
Also we don’t need to be a 4th seed, I would prefer not to have to meet the Thunder til the WC finals. We are only 3 games out of the #2 which is a reasonable goal when you consider the injured guys coming back, Wilson coming back and a favorable schedule. Plus we have gone through adversity and this will refine us for a later run.
The key will be how we play tonight against the Suns. We finally got some much needed rest, so our legs should be good in terms of shooting jumpers and rotating on D. In addition the added practice time should help the horrible pick and roll defense. Hopefully Melvin, Welch and Karl got it figured out and implemented. If we struggle tonight I will not be so optimistic. I want to see hustle but more importantly defensive rotations, pick and roll D and better shooting.
Bigdorph - February 14, 2012
BTW
Chandler’s team despite the loss has already cinched a playoff berth since they own the tiebreaker over the 9th seed team. If they lose they will be 8th and will play the number 1 team who has won 7 out of the last 8 titles and been in the Finals the last 9 years….so the playoffs start on the 22nd and they play every other day. So the earliest he could be back is the 27th the day after the end of the year and will be back after the all star break. If they win they could get all the way up to the 5th seed. The second round of the playoffs start on March 4th, finals would start on the 16th and game 7 would be the 30th
