karl put the right lineups out that half. He didnt go too small with Dre/Lawson out there, and it worked out well. I like the Dre Lawson lineup as long as we go big in the front court.
It’d still be nice to get something for Dre instead of seeing him leave for nothing after this season, so unless you’re sure we’re winning the O’Brien, you probably need to trade him…

started running and draining 3s in the second and third. managed to maintain the lead to the 4th. faried, miller, j-ham, carrol, and kouf closed the game for about 8 minutes. nothing to special. faried played ok. showed his jumping and rebounding prowess. dude is going to be a rebounding blackhole when he gets playing time
then the Nuggets took things into their own hands. Pretty much everyone played well, lots of good looks from inside, very good D, solid 3 point shooting. 28 assists tonight
Reggie Evans reminded us all why we do not miss him one bit. And Brian Cook is the worst shooter in the history of basketball in America, and that’s not hyperbolic.
Hope everyone feels better and the pain is relieved. Liked AAA defense on CP3. Didn’t back down from his constant bumping. And Moz finishing in the lane.

This was 2010 Afflalo. Getting the star guard mad, driving to the hoop, making free throws. This is what I expect from him. Somewhere around 12 points a night and steady defense is all.
obviously a fun one…after the first Q, of course, where I recall thinking that Blake was going to score 40 and we were going to get slaughtered. Gotta give props to Gallo of course, POG—but the best move was Karl putting Afflalo on Paul and having him pick up full court. Great decision, and Afflalo really executed well. Play defense like that every night and you’re gonna earn that contract son, regardless of the offense. Really stalled the Clips from doing what they wanted. For instance, let’s try it tomorrow v. that one other guard from LA. Some other thoughts:
—Moz: very nice. Scoring 11 without dribbling shows a very effective night of positioning, and his hard foul on Griffin changed the game. After that, the Clips sort of shrunk back. Earned the extended minutes tonight.
—Lawson was quietly effective. A few times he turned on the jets and showed that speed, but overall played a very controlled and effective game. Fun to watch live.
—Not having Billups on fire is preferable. But overall the defense was great. Lots of energy tonight. Clips on the 2nd of a b2b really hit a wall and our energy overwhelmed them.
—Man Faried is small in person, but damn fun to watch. He is legitimately shorter and barely broader than Hamilton, and dwarfed by Clips rook Thompkins. Often looks a bit lost, but he just jumps off the page athletically. Gonna be a baller once he figures it all out.
—Everyone loves Bird. From CLips players to fans, dude is a rock star during timeouts. Not so much on the floor today though.
—Randy Foye must have felt like the old Nova days in the 4th. Looked like an all-star. Andre looked like a dad playing and coaching his son’s AAU team.
—Rhianna walked about 3 feet from me. Wow. Not the worst looking woman in the world.
—Man Clips crowds are different than Lakers crowds. Might as well be 2 different cities.
75 and sunny all day. All week. All the time. I remember growing up in Wyo, I used to know where the defrost button was on my car. Not sure I currently have one, though I probably do.
Man LBJ is aging real fast. It might be the steroids he took when he was younger.

just back from the game
obviously a fun one…after the first Q, of course, where I recall thinking that Blake was going to score 40 and we were going to get slaughtered. Gotta give props to Gallo of course, POG—but the best move was Karl putting Afflalo on Paul and having him pick up full court. Great decision, and Afflalo really executed well. Play defense like that every night and you’re gonna earn that contract son, regardless of the offense. Really stalled the Clips from doing what they wanted. For instance, let’s try it tomorrow v. that one other guard from LA. Some other thoughts:
—Moz: very nice. Scoring 11 without dribbling shows a very effective night of positioning, and his hard foul on Griffin changed the game. After that, the Clips sort of shrunk back. Earned the extended minutes tonight.
—Lawson was quietly effective. A few times he turned on the jets and showed that speed, but overall played a very controlled and effective game. Fun to watch live.
—Not having Billups on fire is preferable. But overall the defense was great. Lots of energy tonight. Clips on the 2nd of a b2b really hit a wall and our energy overwhelmed them.
—Man Faried is small in person, but damn fun to watch. He is legitimately shorter and barely broader than Hamilton, and dwarfed by Clips rook Thompkins. Often looks a bit lost, but he just jumps off the page athletically. Gonna be a baller once he figures it all out.
—Everyone loves Bird. From CLips players to fans, dude is a rock star during timeouts. Not so much on the floor today though.
—Randy Foye must have felt like the old Nova days in the 4th. Looked like an all-star. Andre looked like a dad playing and coaching his son’s AAU team.
—Rhianna walked about 3 feet from me. Wow. Not the worst looking woman in the world.
—Man Clips crowds are different than Lakers crowds. Might as well be 2 different cities.
Glad I dropped the coin for that one…damn fun.

Man LBJ is aging real fast. It might be the steroids he took when he was younger.
The square jaw and receding hairline are big signs of steroid use. He may not take them anymore, but I really think he took it in high school and early part of NBA career.
