Since there's nothing going on today but some football game, here is your chance to comment on the game in a basketball-friendly atmosphere ... whatever that means. I think it's some team from New York versus some team from Massachusetts. Yay.
Oh, and a halftime performance by Madonna!

Happy Super Bowl
But what I really want to talk about is how much I hate the NBA All Star game!
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
And
A’m here to disagree
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
I'm
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
Meh
I changed my mind. I don’t want to talk about it right now.
I will make a Fan Post detailing how terrible the All-Star game is as the NBA event draws near.
I look forward to your disagreement.
Also, I think I’ve mentioned it, but “Mozgov Cocktail” is easily my favorite Nugget related screenname. Well done.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
Thank you
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
Quick: Which half time performance was the best in the last 15 years?
There is only one right answer.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
04
because it allowed everyone to see how stupid the FCC is
Phil H. - February 5, 2012
Good guess, but ultimately incorrect
That was certainly the most memorable — who can even remember who played that year?
?
But the best actual music and performing .
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
Prince with his penis guitar!
actually I don’t remember any halftime shows past the last 5 or so years really. Fill me in
Phil H. - February 5, 2012
They were all terrible, really
But Prince was the right answer. Don’t remember that guitar, however.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
I just remember him playing behind a curtain and it looked a little dirty
Phil H. - February 5, 2012
Nba All Star game
They have better performers for halftime than the Super Bowl.
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
TOM PETTY
5baker5 - February 5, 2012
Last year wasnt bad
I kinda liked how Usher came in from above
Army of Nugs - February 5, 2012
either Springstein or Prince
Rainbow skyline - February 5, 2012
Pats better get my $100 back from 07
Kevin L - February 5, 2012
Predictions!
Giants 24 • Patriots 21
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
no Fly, you are way wrong, no way
Final score: Giants 23, Pats20
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
InboundingLobPass - February 5, 2012 via mobile

Army of Nugs - February 5, 2012

I don’t actually speak spanish are you still sick or are you feeling better? Did you move yet?
InboundingLobPass - February 5, 2012 via mobile
Feeling much better
Somebody got me a free flight to Peru so I took it. Living in a 5 bedroom house here now for about $50 a month. Directv is being installed tomorrow with Altitude programmed onto it. Will be back and forth between here and denver quite a bit in the next few months
Army of Nugs - February 5, 2012
It is hot as hell in peru
lost 9 lbs in 3 days from walking around and sweating. oh, havent had a sober minute yet here either.
Army of Nugs - February 5, 2012
nice
InboundingLobPass - February 5, 2012 via mobile
Super Bowl
I will watch, but I stopped caring about the NFL on January 15th.
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
I hate this matchup
sick of both teams, and just find it really uninteresting.
Rainbow skyline - February 5, 2012
Totally agree
I would have been interested if either the ravens or 49ers made it.
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
Go NUGGETS!
SDcat09 - February 5, 2012
So excited for Madonna!
Would be way more interested if it were Lady GaGa.
LOVE HER!
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
they will never let gaga near a super bowl.
Rainbow skyline - February 5, 2012
Well, not right now
When she is aging and no longer “edgy” who knows?
Think they’d let Madonna near one of these things back when she was selling a picture book called “Sex”?
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
Viewers
Half of the viewers probably don’t even know who the hell Madonna is.
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
There would be no Gaga without Madonna paving her way.....
SDcat09 - February 5, 2012
Madonna changed up on everyone...
and was clothed head to toe…
mtnmagic22 - February 6, 2012
just worked on Madonna's new music video last week.
It’s amazing how young she looks in the video compared to when she was on the golden globes recently.
Movie Magic
InboundingLobPass - February 5, 2012 via mobile
Go Giants...I guess.
Gr3yStreet - February 5, 2012
Super Bowl
I’m a huge football fan, but I can’t seem to find any reason to be excited about this matchup
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
Madonna
The only reason I have the television on.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
I could care less
About Madonna
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
Wait
If you don’t care about the show at halftime, or the game does this mean you are watching for the … commercials?
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
That's
a reasonable conclusion Fly. Maybe I’m just too young to appreciate Madonna. I just hate the Pats and Giants.
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
See, I like them both
Giants have Cruz, Pats have Gronkowski.
I don’t want to have to choose!
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
I like them both too
Doesn’t mean I like either team though.
TheMozgovCocktail - February 5, 2012
I'm the only football fan in Colorado
Who digs the Patriots and Belichik’s evil genius. Prob. the only football fan who likes Eli more than Peyton. Love Coughlin’s play-calling.
I don’t know. Don’t get why so many are so down on this super bowl. It’s fun times.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
and I'm the only NYer
who like Belli and loves TBrady
BTW, the giants who are elite are rushers and pass receivers – in top 3 while Eli is in the “good” category.
82 passer rating career, 92 this year is not elite. Brady is chasing immortality, Eli is chasing Jim Plunkett
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
This is a clinic in lip-synching
Y’all don’t know what yer missing.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
Madonna should know better than to
wear shoes she cant dance in and almost fell in.
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
Rooting for the Giants sguistra?
One of my friends has a lot of money riding on them so I am rooting for the Giants too
JR15 - February 5, 2012 via mobile
nope, I feel neutral about Giants, hate the Jets, love TBrady
am rooting for Patriots but I think the Giants will pull this out
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
My #1 team this year
the best sports story in years, the Tebow led Broncs and lots of NYers agree
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
Artist got some nice billing at the end or the Madanna show
Rockridge1 - February 5, 2012
That was Artest
Rockridge1 - February 5, 2012
Too bad he slaps players in the face and still plays dirty defense
Despite his oxymoronic name
JR15 - February 5, 2012 via mobile
Ar-deTest?
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
you know, MWP is from a housing projects a mile away
from where I live and he goes back there a lot.
My take on MWP is that he is very emotional, leading to several despicable actions but, I gotta say, I think he’s a good guy, has a good heart and is very genuine.
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
Issel Really Wanted To Draft Artest
Rumor is Bird for Kaman
Rockridge1 - February 5, 2012
great news
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
I bet we have to give a pick
Rockridge1 - February 5, 2012
Deal!
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
I would Amnety Bird and Trade AAA for Kaman and keep the pick
Rockridge1 - February 5, 2012
Seriously why is everyone giving up on AAA???
He will come around and make his contract look like a bargain. You have to have patience.
Be happy that we are still winning.
JR15 - February 6, 2012
A la Al Harrington
You just can’t give up on guys that easy.
You can definitely tell AAA is feeling the pressure of the contract. Once he lets the game come to him he will be fin.
JR15 - February 6, 2012
Great Seinfeld Commercial
Rockridge1 - February 5, 2012
wow i have never seen gallo this pumped up ever at 4:04
http://www.nba.com/playoffs/2011/westseries4/
5baker5 - February 5, 2012
Wow! What a catch!
Russscot - February 5, 2012
Giants win
Brady denied again
Jeffrey Morton - February 5, 2012
peyton or eli?
5baker5 - February 5, 2012
Archie.
Fly Agaric - February 5, 2012
Cooper
Jeffrey Morton - February 5, 2012
yep, but now, who cares?
its all basketball, all the time
Go Nuggets!
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
ive lost interest in football over the years
5baker5 - February 5, 2012
no thats not the question
Plunkett or Eli is more like it.
Peyton, Brady = immortals, Rodgers will be one
Eli = a good QB with astonishingly great receivers. If Welker (a possession receiver) makes easy catch, late 4th, Pats win. Giant receivers make every catch and then some more.
sgiustra - February 5, 2012
Everyone fails to mention the Giants surrounding cast is friggin amazing
Cruz, Manningham, Nicks, Ballard, and some other TE who is good but can’t remember his name. (Basically its like Gronk, Hernandez, and really good receivers).
O forgot to mention the Giants have a great run game with Bradshaw and Jacobs which is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Green-Ellis/ Woodhead.
Did I forget to mention they have the best front 4 on defense too. That team is just stacked ridiculously to make up for any errors Eli has.
