Hoping Lawson goes for 30 tonight ... not sure how...
The last week has made it hard to remember what our team looks like when they’re playing well. I’m just hoping that they come out with a ton of energy on defense.
Watched him get some time last year off the bench for Golden State. Really liked his energy, and I thought he saw the floor/game well. Turns out he’s a good fit for D’Antoni, and those guys need all the steady play they can get. Plus, he makes the ball actually MOVE, unlike a certain former Nugget. A la my sig line…

I would rather see Faried at PF and Nene at center, or Koufas at center and Nene at PF instead of Anderson being involved as a starter. More of an energy bench player IMO

I just really would like for it to be cleaned up. Can you imagine the Detroit Bad Boys teams trying to play in today’s game? They’d all foul out in the first quarter.

is that we cannot hit a shot outside of 5 feet consistently – as an entire team. Dallas, like the teams we’ve played in the last 5 games, is just packing the lane, and making penetration pretty much a non-factor. Until we can punish teams for sagging off, they will continue to do so.
that’s really the thing imo. Nothing will go right until they start shooting like a professional basketball team and not a low-major NCAA team. It will inspire the defense, make the other team’s defense honest, and set everything in motion. It’s scary that it really hasn’t happened this season yet though.
There’s a difference between being old and lonely, not old and alone. I’m not lonely and I’m not elderly. I’m just saying that if I live long enough to make people be horrified at the thought of getting some, I damn well hope I am getting some.
Maybe giving away the Memphis game was one too.
But we should have won vs. LAC, MEM, and HOU.

is that we cannot hit a shot outside of 5 feet consistently – as an entire team. Dallas, like the teams we’ve played in the last 5 games, is just packing the lane, and making penetration pretty much a non-factor. Until we can punish teams for sagging off, they will continue to do so.

that’s really the thing imo. Nothing will go right until they start shooting like a professional basketball team and not a low-major NCAA team. It will inspire the defense, make the other team’s defense honest, and set everything in motion. It’s scary that it really hasn’t happened this season yet though.
